Our work on the 26-metre schooner Arrabida began two years ago. Her original custom refit included a new covering for her topsides, galvanic isolation, a new hydraulic power-pack and upgrades to her deck, as well as major work to her propeller shaft.

After she sustained significant damage during storm Poly in July this year – during which her mooring line came loose from the dock and she endured substantial damage to her recently-painted hull – AYS was entrusted by the owner to complete her repairs and bring her back to her former glory, with works including repairing the rub rail, and a brand new paint job, as well as repairs to the vessel’s guard rail.
