Repair and Respray

The works began as a haul-out and a respray of the topsides on one side of the yacht, due to the damage she had sustained after undergoing a collision with another vessel. We built a specially-designed container hall covered by a tent in order to enable these works to take place at our facility. Unfortunately, due to three extreme storms which were faced by the Netherlands in February this year, the tent broke and partially fell on Nageira.

Once we had received the order to repair her again from her determined owner, we set to work. This involved repairing the antenna mast, repairing and repairing the antennas themselves, respraying parts of the antennas – as well as the superstructure, and the topsides – redoing the stainless steel bulwarks/railings, replacing a window and revarnishing the interior where it had undergone damage. The respraying took place in late 2021-early 2022, and the second round of works occurred between March-May 2022 before she was successfully returned to her owner for her next adventures.
